The Hazell Rooms were opened by the Bishop of Southwark in January 2012 and provide St Peter and St Paul’s with an excellent new meeting room. Apart from the new meeting room, facilities include a new kitchen, disabled toilet with baby changing facilities and a new vestry. The meeting room can also open up onto a patio which overlooks the ancient churchyard and farm land beyond; ideal for the warm summer months.
Between March and November the Hazell Rooms host very popular teas on Sunday afternoons, providing a welcome place to rest for ramblers and visitors alike.
The Hazell Rooms, which is attached to the ancient Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul’s provides an excellent venue for church away days or day retreats, given it’s position on many rambling routes, it’s secluded location and its proximity to the M25, M23 and major A roads.
